Why would you leave medications or anything of that sort where he could get to it? Climbing or not, it's YOUR responsibility to child proof your home to make a safe environment for him... spanking a child for being a child & getting into things is ridiculous.
Girl, if you are not extremely mad at your child to the point where you are about to hurt him, spank him. That's your child! Cant nobody tell you what to do. Don't beat your child. There is nothing wrong with spanking YOUR child. Better teach him now before law enforcement hurt them. Some children will understand the talk and some don't. That is your child.
spanking isn't a crime. it's discipline. As long as you don't leave bruises and terrible marks ya know. It's ok to spank children because that's how they learn wrong from right
Spanking works on mine it makes his listen..n do as he is told..n he knows what no means..hes testing me right now..he finally fell asleep..
To each their own. I don't spank mine because I know their brains don't work that way and if I talk to them they understand me. Maybe your son is too young to know yet. Just be consistent and say no. I don't say I have never spanked. Because I have my oldest spit one day at someone and I did.

there is locks for the fridge and oven, there is child proof plastic covers for your doorknobs. Put the medicine in the bathroom and dont let him in. Let him throw a fit if he wants. Unless there is other issues with him, he should calm down after he sees you don't pay attention to him.
Make the place child proof. Medication should not be left in the table at a kids reach
