If you breastfeed you can put a few drops of breast milk in the eye and it heals up within a day or two!! Sounds weird but my pediatrician told me to do and it's worked on two seperate occasions and super fast :)

I used a prescribed medication from doc...it waa basically a pink eye from my baby poking at his nose and thwn touching his eyes. The mucus wemt away with a day or 2, the redness stayed about a week. And the watery eyes abiut a week as well.....this was with medication for a week...it kind of looked like it wantes to come back but i out eye drops again couple more days now he is good

It's odd but breast milk does work! And the eye infection may just be a clogged tear duct, try massaging the corner of your LO's eye and stroke downwards towards the nose. Repeat that a few times a day.

I used my breast milk and it cleared up in two days.
