Moms I need advice. My son has been breastfed up until tonight. In the beginning we supplemented with formula, but now it's like even after being latched and eating for 10 minutes he is wanting to eat again in 30mins to and hour..... so we gave him formula tonight and he seems to be doing better. And now I'm trying to decide so I go full formula or do I just supplement? Help 😢 my anxiety can't take this

Sometimes its not about hunger. They want to feel close to mom or sucking helps them feel better and relaxed. If youre comfortable, latch him whenever he wants and he'll be more content.

I thought about that too. But he is honestly acting hungry! And will stay latched. When he is not hungry and full he will push me away but he's right back to eating an hour later if not sooner

Try pumping and mixing your milk with formula.

Sometimes at that age they do what's called cluster feeding my little one did the same! But we do supplement with formula as well. I say don't give up breastfeeding because of the benefits but if it gives you peace of mind look into combination feeding! Good luck Momma doing a great job!

Breastmilk digests so quickly for them also. Formula doesnt so they wont eat as often. My son is 8m and still nurses very often! Some days its every hour. You can wear him in a sling and nurse while you work if you want. Do what works for you guys! You know best.
