I know people suggest not to eat cold meat sandwiches... but baby wanted a Jersey Mike's sub!! 😂🙈

Cold meat can carry Listeria and it can hurt the baby. I didn't know anything about it my first pregnancy and i ate sandwiches everyday, my first was 6 weeks premature but I don't think it had anything to do with it. You do what makes baby happy, baby will tell tou if they didn't like it.

@hanahmarie2183 exactly! I've actually read many listeria reports with things like lettuce this year... you don't heat a salad, so I figure 1 sandwich in 22 weeks is probably not going to be a huge risk! lol I've been craving it for literally weeks! It was SO good! 😅

Right! Its really not going to hurt anything, its always precaution. Like i said i ate cold deli and processed lunch meat my entire first pregnancy and now shes a perfect healthy 4 year old.

I waited 32 weeks before I had a sandwich, that was way too long, I honestly don't think it could hurt the baby at all at this point. Maybe during the first trimester when baby is doing the most developing, but other than that I see no problem.

After every doctor appointment my first pregnancy I went and ate jersey mikes!! They are my absolute favorite sandwiches I always got the turkey sandwich with extra cherry pepper relish😂😋 but this pregnancy I can not stand the smell of deli meat

@meme2393 it's funny how pregnancies change our tastes... I am like NEVER craving lunch meat... I'll get it is we are going on a road trip, or to the park for the day, because it's fast and easy... but I've been drooling over the thought of a cold ham and cheese sub! 😂

I love sandwiches they are one of my favorite foods lol as a kid that all my mom could get me to eat was sandwiches and salad
