Okay mommies please help here recently my daughter hasn't been eating and at her doc appointment she only gained 5 ounces. And it's bothering me I don't know what to do I give her anything and everything she wants only to have her play in it or to spit it out everywhere I'm at a loss and I've even tried just giving her things she likes and she doesn't even eat that she is drinking milk but she's starting not to drink that and I got her pediasure and she drinks half of it like she does her milk I don't know what to do I feel like I'm failing please help me 😞
Thank u ladies for the help @kiki2017 @mrs.f I'm going to try letting her "help me cook" that's a good idea and just let her pick what she wants
Yea. My in laws gave my baby sugar. Now she's a sugar baby
Ohh maybe try letting her help you cook then maybe she will want to eat it because"she made it" idk you meantioned Independence.
Nope she won't I've done it and she gives me a look that is like Wtf lol and I've done smaller portions @kiki2017 . And I have my dad to blame for that I was trying not to let her have sweets till she was at least two I wanted to get her to think a apple was candy or add something but my dad messed that up 😡😢@mrs.f
Did the doctor have any suggestions for you?...Oh maybe smaller portions?
I'm all about research and I've tried every tip and trick that's it's told me and I am waving my little flag due to the face nothing is working.😢😢 @kiki2017
Hmm maybe try the airplane and different sounds when you feed her. Will she go for that?
I would let her eat some things like cookies and stuff so she is keeping her current wait or gaining a little. I would research some tips on how to get my child to eat.
She doesn't like for me to feed her she's all about independents 😥😢@kiki2017
Yaaaaasss omg lol I have crackers and cheese crackers for her along with nella wafers but I got her healthier snack as well but all she wants is like chips or chocolate chip cookies it's so frustrating @mrs.f
Maybe try to feed her yourself the foods like mashed potatoes, macaroni n cheese.
Lol same! I thought my baby was the only one. We got her some little yogurt bites from the store or dry cereal so when she does want to snack it right there you know?
I do that to but all she wants is cookies and sweets 😞 @mrs.f
I'm going through the same. I would just offer her little snacks through out the day. A little food is better than none. I guess it's a phase
Ladies, Skyla is refusing to eat or drink any water or orange juice and she is really constipated. I've tried cycling her legs and the gp even prescribed lactulose and nothing is helping. She will only have her milk. I don't know what else I can do
So question
Has anybody successfully not be able to give there seconds or third child like cookies fast food etc .
After seeing the effect after giving it to your your first children ?
For example: my son only drink chocolate milk :( he will drink white milk and cereal but never by it self ) with my daughter I’m trying to not give her NONE .
My son loves cookies , I’m trying to not give my daughter none !!
Opinions on hungrier baby milk? My girl is drinking well over 30 oz in 24 hours. I tried her with water inbetween feeds but she just won't settle in till she has milk as she's hungry not thirsty. She's awake like 18 hours a day 😭
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
You are welcome. I been working with kids for years now. An what helps me is to think like them but at the same time get them to do what needs to be done.
