I know it's best to wash your newborns clothes BUT is it necessary to wash newborn hats ? I've washed them with my 1st born but they shrunk afterwards. What's your opinion ? I bought lots of hats for baby #2 and not sure to wash them or not . Giving birth FRIDAY :D
@amandacn, yeah I think I will consider hand washing them .
You never know who has touched them or what chemicals were in the factory it was made in. I suggest just washing them in cold water and air drying them. ( if you decide to wash them)
I washed everything but that is just me. I have seen people use stuff and bring it back.
Probably a cray question to ask, but when did y’all start to wash your newborns clothes and putting them away? Like I’ve been getting clothes since I found out what I was having but I haven’t taken off tags yet or washed anything. I’m 30 weeks. It’s crazy because with my other 3 kids I didn’t really wash a lot of their stuff at first (got lazy) ALSO what laundry detergent did you use if you didn’t use Dreft? Because i saw Pyrex for Baby an didn’t know if anyone tried it??

Hey Moms,
If you named your children after your pregnancy cravings, what would their names be?? Post on the newsfeed and hashtag it #momlifegames so we can read them all 😂
Can't wait to see them all! And thanks to Bad Parenting Moments for this funny photo!

Okay now ladies I’m just asking a question no need to get rude now. I’ve washed most my sons clothes handed down from my son but I just went shopping got newborn and 0-3 clothes and blankets. I just don’t want to shrink them and I guess you can call it lazy but I don’t want to do all this laundry. But I did! Put them in dryer for good 10-15 minutes thinking heat will kill and get any dust or chemicals of them...... so I’m looking for advice or opinion did you wash all your baby clothes?
You can wash and hang dry so they don't shrink.
