Question for moms with more than one little one. When you had your second child was your labor actually shorter than it was with your first?
I'm not pregnant right now, and don't plan on getting pregnant again any time soon. I'm just curious. With my daughter my labor was roughly an hour and a half and she came out in less than 20 minutes of me pushing wirh no pain meds.
@labellacupcakes that's crazy, normally what I read about the epidural is that it makes labor longer.
All 3 of my deliveries I pushed for 20 minutes. The first was the longest because I was trying to go natural and it wasn't working. Once I got the epidural I delivered 40 minutes later. 3-10cm in a half hour was crazy!
No I meant to say you ur labor varies from each child you will have @amandacn
@mberjuste5 I know everyone is different, I've just been reading a lot of people's comments lately saying the first labor is the longest, which I even heard before I had my baby. I was just curious about people's experiences.
Every labor is different.... My first was the longest ever.... I say my last one was the shortest maybe by I stayed home for most of the time then rush to the hospital.
@ellieinmybelly I was so adamant about not having pain meds. They put me in the tub and it helped a tiny bit. But I was in so much pain because my contractions were constant. So I caved in and said I wanted an epidural ( which I really really didn't want) and half way to the bed my water broke and as soon as the guy came in my daughter was on her way.
@ellieinmybelly I didn't feel lucky, haha. I was puking and each time I did I became more dilated. I went fully natural, no pain meds, induction, or anything.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

No, for me my body was not relaxing. Once I had the epidural my body was able to relax and do its thing. Had the epidural with all 3 and it worked beautifully.
