So today I decided to feed Florence homemade food and not the pouches and jars which just seem to come back up in bits, she had tiny bit of weetabix mixed with her formula after her bottle for breakfast, then baby pasta stars with cheese stirred in for lunch with a fromage frais after, then her tea she had tuna mixed with mash potato and a bit of broccoli, heinz baby choc pudding for afters....everything she had was a thicker consistency and you know what she was hardly sick at all, one tiny bit later in the day, but I think the baby purées and jars maybe too watery, anyone else find this with reflux baby's?

Haven't noticed sick being any different but his poos are harder now they used to be quite runny xxx tmi haha

@beck_yemm, ah bless ha...does Harvey have much cheese in his meals? Like Philadelphia or cheddar? I gave Florence some today mixed in her baby pasta stars but now worried it might be too salty??

He probably has cheese once a day whether it be cheese spread or grated xx I thought this too but my health visitor said it's one of the best first foods and as it's such a small amount they actually eat it's fine xx

@beck_yemm, oh I'm so glad you said that I've just been reading on the internet and scared myself lol salt intake etc...but a small amount in baby pasta or mash is ok right?

I try to refrain from googling too much it's full of horror stories haha ! Yeah that should be fine hun it's full of lots of good stuff too 😄xx

@beck_yemm, I know it's no good googling too much is it lol I really don't remember worrying this much with Harvey, he was a great eater and quickly progressed to eating whatever we were eating, do you ever whizz up leftover Sunday dinner for your lil boy? Gravy included? Just thinking about doing it soon for her in next few weeks maybe x

I just go with my instincts really as long as something isn't too salty or sugary he has it xx yes he's had Sunday dinner before - loved it! I used reduced salt gravy though xx

@beck_yemm, great so just use a low salt gravy to add to it, that's a good plan cheers xxx
