What did you bring to the hospital that you are glad you brought?
Also what did you wear home from the hospital? I'm trying to pack a bag- I like to be prepared early. Lol
@mi.mommy, thank you! I haven't done a hospital walk through yet. I'm a little nervous if you can't tell lol.
@mommamarli, the hospitals provide mostly everything you need and your baby! Mostly when you take a 'hospital walk' they show you the rooms and you can ask what they will provide. The only thing you might want: a nice and cute outfit for the baby to get home! I was lucky that my hospital gave me: breast pads, underwear, a bottle to clean myself, spray, witch hazel pads, overnight/max pads, cream for the baby (circumcised), wipes, diapers and a shirt for the baby, a baby comb , bottle to clean him, and a nasal thingy :) - if you are nice to them, and you can always ask for it - they will give it to you!
@mommy2benntley, wow - that would be kinda cold lol. He's due in June so I'm looking for it to be warm. I will put it down. I appreciate it.
My hospital gave you the half shirts just bring a couple just incase on top of going home if need be someone can run back and get more for you at home if need be I thought it was odd because it was January when I had my son
@mommy2benntley, ok I was confused on that because some say to bring clothes because they want them to be changed? Should I ask?
I got stayfree maxi overnights there huge but trust me you need it and I just hates the ones my hospital had they were scratchy and the mules underware didn't stay on me so I had my bf go to Walmart and buy me granny panties and pads and I just threw the underwear away lmao
They give you diapers and wipes this one I'll have to bring my own because my son can't use any other brand but pampers and I was the same way shower stuff they didn't give me any I just went to dollar store and got the travel size I brought a few outfits for baby but every time they took him he wasn't in them anymore
I used the hospital pads and underwear because sometimes you bleed through and theirs are disposable
@mommy2benntley, @mi.mommy, @kydensmommy, nipple cream and breast pads are now on my list! What kinda pads (period like wise) did y'all get? What's good and what's not? This is my first kid- can ya tell? 😂
Sweats and a shirt snacks honestly because my husband stayed with me the whole time
@mi.mommy, thank you 😊
