@hiswifetheirmama, us mommys just need breaks😭 the only other person he's good with is my mom and that's because since he was little she holds him SO close to her through all the crying and eventually he just gave up with her it seems like! But she works so much and doesn't live close enough

@hiswifetheirmama, my SO always feels like he doesn't really love him either. My son laughs and plays with me but just sits there and barely stares at daddy. My SO was very shy as a kid and I feel like that's the direction my son is heading in which is completely fine! But I just want him to be able to enjoy other people so other people can enjoy him! Ive always had an issue with my back hurting so wearing my son has never been an option for me because when he was under 10 lbs😕days like today though where I have to shower, do all the laundry and dishes it'll be miserable for me because my son will cry/fuss that I'm not sitting there with me 24/7...

My son was the same way! I'm a stay at home mom so I'm around him 24/7 my husband used to come home from work and be even more stressed because he also felt that way but my son is finally getting out of it. He laughs and all with his dad but if I leave and go somewhere he'll still be good but cry a little but soon as I walk in the house he knows lol and idk how he will start screaming until I make it up the stairs to hold him.

He' just turned 5 months yesterday. He's really good with my grandma he has this bond. Other ppl he'll look at them meanly, or smile it just all depends on him.

Yess they do! I'm trying to have him around more babies though. He loves seeing babies his age when we go to the store or if I'm on instagram and he sees a baby pic he gets so excited

@mommabear13, my SO best friend has a boy almost exactly 4 months younger and he's around him at least once a week. My friend has a little girl 2 months older than him and we sometimes have play dates and when my SIL comes home which is like 4-5 times a year her little girl is 4 months older than him. So he's definitely around babies his age and it still doesn't help! I drop him off with my MIL every Monday at like 2 so I can go to doctors appointments and the gym but my fiancé gets there at 430 so he's not there without us for very long and generally they say he cries a lot. Every week it's been slightly better. This Monday they said he was excellent but I also left there at like 3:15 so they were alone with him for a total of an hour and 15 minutes lol I chalk that up to a win though
