soooo... im new here and I'm pregnant.. 23 weeks and 6 days exactly... well i crave sooooo much sand…

Well welcome omg tell me why i been craving sand alot lately. Too and i haven't ate it but been so close to and i told my Dr. About it and she said that its cus i needed iron ao i got some iron pills but im still craving sand lol its crazy

me too i have those iron pills but my dr told me to stop taking them because i started feeling bad.. but yes i eat it😣😣 and now im worried because the craving wont stop and i feel like im hurting my baby boy💔💔

Dont get me Wrong i wanna hella eat some lmao .....but im scared to it might harm my baby im gonna ask my dr. Next time i see her if its bad eating it

yes and tell me what she says ill probably ask my dr too and i should probably confess to eating it

it probably will hurt you more than the baby unless you literally walked to the beach and ate it because of all the toxins that could be in it. Stop eating it any way and try to take your iron again ,if you still feel sick with the iron then try lower doses

@asotelo yeah something called pica but you haven't ate any??? because i have:( and i hope its not going to harm my baby you know.. but ive read sooo many articles and some mom's say their baby's came out 100% healthy and ate sand during their pregnancy

@jjsmommyjj711 probably huh??? no girl i live in el paso tx. no where near a beach that would be heaven to me lol but i bought a bag of sand when my daughter was probably a month old and started eating it but i had no idea i was pregnant already and i still ate it until i was 4 months then my craving started again but when i found out the gender they ran some tests and said my baby boy was healthy

@asotelo yeah but i like mine too and he's so friendly but I'll feel terrible if he tells me im crazy or that it is harmful and he's probably going to ask for tests to check and see how my baby is doing or idk but yaaas girl go for it I'll ask mine too because i want to make sure my baby is healthy.. but thank you means alot😊😊

I said probably because I didn't want to seem like I really knew everything about eating sand when I don't and I always felt like I was off and craved something but I never knew what it was I probably was missing some mineral in my diet, as long as hes healthy, that's all that matters right

I crave sand and dirt but i dont eat it

I crave mothballs but dont eat them. I smell them alot though.
