So the antibiotics that I'm on give my baby an diarhoea.. she has been unsettled all night she won't go down and will only settle/stop crying when held. She is constantly feeding even though don't think she's actually hungry.. i cant even pump any milk out for her because she's drank that much.. been non stop since midday. Any tips on how to make her feel better? I hate seeing her like this..
Dont give formula tho hun u can continue feeding just keep feeding and follow her lead.like they always say if she has plenty o dirty wet nappies thats fine.. and she may be feesing that much to replace fluids wich is very good x
Are breast milk has probotics which is good bacteria that helps us to stay healthy when. We take antibiotics it knocks it down hence why it messes with baby gut and cause discomfort for baby xx
f taking antibiotics while breastfeeding, you may notice your baby becomes temporarily a bit more unsettled with colic like symptoms. This does not require any treatment and should resolve soon after the antibiotics are finished. Your baby’s poos and temperament temporarily changing are not serious and don’t mean you should cease breastfeeding or the antibiotic course, or pump or dump your milk while taking antibiotics. Anecdotally, some mothers have found that their antibiotic use can set up some signs of secondary lactose intolerance in their baby. This is possible since anything that causes gut irritation (such as antibiotic use by its effect on gut flora) has the potential to cause secondary lactose intolerance. Once the antibiotic course has finished and with continued breastfeeding, the gut will return to normal.
If you need to take antibiotics while breastfeeding, you may notice that your baby has runnier poos than usual and that her poos may be more of a green colour. This does not require any treatment and should resolve soon after you’ve finished taking the antibiotics.
TWW!!

Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
@megz I wouldn't stop breastfeeding it's the best for your bubba
