That's because it's genetics. You shouldn't be sad because your son looks like both parents. It's not your son's fault. He'll look like his father as well as you. Don't be sad because he has his father's looks. Answer is: Genetics. No mother should be upset because of their child's genetics from both parents regardless if the father is a dead beat. Your son is beautiful. Every child is beautiful. You should be happy you have such a delight in your life instead on downing on your son for looking a little like his father. Not your son's fault. I don't want to sound rude or be disrespectful. I'm not trying to be mean at all. It's just a bit nerve wrecking you're upset about who your son looks like. Even though its not his fault.
