One thing I noticed that happens a lot to me now that I'm pregnant is the big breastfeeding topic, and I hate it. Yes, I know the benefits of breastfeeding compared to formula feeding, but what I don't get is using that to make someone feel forced to. Personally, I don't want to breastfeed, I'm not comfortable with it, I'm a full time student with a full time job, stressed as it is, last thing I want to do is making sure I am pumping enough, plus I need medication for my insulin which I can't take if I breastfeed. With that being said, I have respect for moms breastfeeding, as well as formula feeding. Just because I'm formula feeding, doesn't give me a right to bash breastfeeding moms, nor give the right for breastfeeding moms to bash me. It is the mothers choice, why is it okay for people to bash and try to force moms into feeding their babies a way they don't want to?

I don't even understand why there point is relevant. People tell me what they think I should do and I tell them
Oh, sounds like a great idea, have a child and do whatever you want.

Pumping is for the birds! If I had to strictly pump I wouldn't last. It's aggravating to me. I exclusively breastfeed but would never judge another mother for her choice to formula feed. We are all on our own journeys with our babies. A fed baby is a happy baby. Maybe you can just give ur baby colostrum when u first have it to give it some of ur immune system😍

U shouldn't be forced or made to feel bad. Fed is best.

I breastfeed, and I pump on occasion. I don't see anything wrong with your choice. I'm a stay at home mom for the moment, I don't go to school or work right now, so it's the best option for me. Yes breast milk has a lot more than formula, but so many people use formula and their babies are healthy and just fine
