My daughter is. We tried to break her at a year, but it lasted 2 days. I don't know what to do at bedtime.

Do you let her sleep on her stomach all the time?

My son gave it up on his own when he was about 15 months old. He just simply didn't want it anymore. My daughter flat out refused one from the beginning. Idk what to expect with this one. I'm hoping he gives it up on his own too, assuming he takes to one.

Yes @jloop7509, she won't sleep on her back . Whenever I try she'll wake up crying within 5 mins or she'll roll over onto her side which she don't stay sleep that way either . Since birth she preferred her stomach . In the hospital with her she wouldn't sleep at night unless I put her on the stomach so that's just how she's been sleeping every since . My son was the same only stomach sleeper .

Only 2 days @danysmommy, 😳..... I can't take the everyday struggle with the binki when I pack her bag that's the first thing I make sure I have lol because when gets to start smacking her gums and no binki comes her way it's OVER ctfu !!!

@2-mommies, I'm hoping mines will just give it up too hopefully soon lol . I be seeing 2 yrs walking around with them still and I be like howwwwww ? Them things should come with time limits lol just like bottles you not gone let your kid walk around with a bottle tell there 4 "I hope" why a binki ?? Do you get nervous she'll suffocate in any way. I feel like my little boy would sleep better on his tummy but he also won't sleep without a swaddle so I can't really try it out

@jeanetta25 I understand. I wish I knew how to get these girls off of it. Mine does all the same things. She will throw a fit if she doesn't have one. She gave up bottles fine, but the pacifier, she won't let go of.

No because she had neck control since birth barely had to hold her head. She and she turns her head back and forth with no problem . The only thing I have to watch out for is her scooting to close to the top or side s of the bed because she gets around scooting with no issue I think she's going to be an early crawler cause she be on the move specially when she's upset . She also can raise her head up pretty high in push up position . I think if she couldn't turn her head back and forth so easily then yea I'd be afraid and in that case she wouldn't be on tummy

@jloop7509, and my baby hates the swaddle now lol . She's a wild girl she has to have her hands and feet loose at all times lol because all she does is fling her arms around specially when she's laughing lol and she loves kicking her feet so swaddling is a no for her she'll definitely start crying lol .

@jeanetta25 I was told to not let her go past 18 months. I'm going to hope she's of it before then, but I won't hold my breath. Yeah, I would say they're a big security thing for them.

Lol that's the reason I swaddle, he won't calm down to sleep cause he's flailing so much. I experiment with one arm out at nap time but he's iffy. He also only takes a pacy for naps and not night sleeps

@jloop7509, Oh wow lol he's very particular in how he want things at certain times lol . It's crazy how these little people who can't do for there selves are so demanding and will let you know how they want things done and what they prefer and when . It's so cute . Since our babies are the same age how many ounces does your baby drink ?

@danysmommy, why is that that they can't go past 18 months is it because of there teeth ? Like they say they shouldn't be on bottles past a certain age

He's breastfed and takes a little over 4 oz from a bottle

@yeah , I was told dentists will tell you 2, but 18 months is what WIC told me.

I think their jaw structure and mouth starts form around the pacifier. My sister is 28 and still sucks her thumb. She's had braces twice.. Trust me you don't want that
