Teen mommies, how did you tell your family you was pregnant and how did they react?

i just straight up told them. But I have a good relationship with my family. They were disappointed at first, but then got use to the idea :) I was 18 at the time. Now im 20, and just found out I am pregnant again! So I dont know how this round will go telling them🙊

No I haven't, I haven't had a chance to get one yet. Just wanted to see how other people's family reacted.

I'm 19 and my mom was super excited but my dad was just supportive asking me how I felt about it and whatever I decide to do in the end will be the what's best. My bestfriend got pregnant at 15 and her parents were of course surprised but we're there for her.

@kimbermills if i were you i would just find out before telling anyone. And then if you are then just tell your parents bluntly. And see how they react. Some parents react differently. My parents were pist and my dad couldnt look at me. But he came around eventually. Good luck.

I just told my mom "mom I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive" she was really happy for me. I'm 19 btw

Every reaction is different, my parents and my boyfriends parents were happy when we told them and very supportive of us. Just take a test and be sure and just tell them. The longer you wait is not a good idea because you need prenatal care and they might get mad because you took to long to tell them.

My first pregnancy i had just turned 15. And thats when they were pist, my dad couldnt look at me and did not want my bf in the picture. But unfortunately i misscarried so they quick got over that and forgot it all happened. I found out i was pregnant again at 17 and told them. They were still not happy but more nicer then the first time. But i misscarried again. This time i found out i am pregnant and i am currently 18! They were so happy for me. My dad feels my little girl kick and everything. Im 25 weeks pregnant with support from my family. My fiace is still in the picture. We are high school sweet hearts. And are getting married in july! Seriously rip the bad aid off and find out and let them know. You will feel so much weight off your shoulders. Plus the longer you wait without being seen by a doctor something can happen to your baby. Like a infection. @kimbermills

I'm 18 since June. In September I gave my mom paperwork so she could help me pay for prescriptions from being in the ER for an infection and pregnancy test. Knowing my mother, I convinced her to go out to eat since it will be in public and handed her papers. Afterwards it went well. Kinda. I find it helpful with the reactions, if you tell them in public so just in case they'll want to express any negative feelings.

I'm 18 currently gonna be 19 in June. We found out I was pregnant on November 18 of last year and we told my family on thanksgiving. BUT I was married.. We got married in April when I was 17. So the whole family was excited.
