TMI question:
When I had my daughter, I had her naturally with no meds. She got stuck in the canal and her heart rate dropped so my doctor decided forced forceps would be needed since an emergency C-section would take too long with my daughters current state. Due to the forceps, I had second degree internal and external tearing as well as anal fissuring. My doctor said that sex would be painful and un-pleasurable from there on out, and that I shouldn't be surprised if my libido and sex drive drop significantly or disappear altogether . I haven't had any kind of sex drive since I found out I was pregnant, let alone had her. My question was this: Have any other mommas dealt with that extent of injuries during natural birth? Did you lose your drive, or just confidence from it? My sex drive has gone off the grid since I was 2 months pregnant and it hasn't made its return yet 😂 Not a problem for me, but I was just curious, because the stitch up, infection, and healing didn't make the lady bits look too nice now.

When my mom had my oldest brother she tore so bad she was held together with 27 staples, internal and external. That being like 31 years ago I'm sure protocol has changed on how they deal with a situation like that. But I'm assuming her sex drive came back because she had 3 more children lol my little brother was born when she was 41 so there was high risk involved and it did a number on her body and the extent of her injury (when the oldest was born) has been bothering her since the last birth and she needs reconstructive surgery. We have a very open relationship so idk if this sounds weird lol but she definitely has a sex drive, and she has the sex appeal of a 25 year old. I'm not saying she absolutely loves her body but she brought 4 healthy children into the world, has a man that loves her crazy ass and they have a healthy sex life. Vaginas are weird looking anyway and they literally come in any shape under the sun. You should be confident knowing what your body can go through, that you have a lovely daughter. If sex is painful I can totally understand why you wouldn't have a sex drive, but I don't think it's anything you can't overcome!

I had the vacuum and the suction and I now go to what I like to call "vagina physio" because my pelvic floor is so messed up. Sex is so excruciatingly painful 😖
