Has anyone that has pcos have a miscarriage and then have a successful pregnancy after that miscarriage? If so how long did it take you to conceive after the miscarriage?

Yes. Thank you. Hopefully I will. It's like I'm missing part of me now and my husband and I want more children. :(

That's exactly right! You can have another pregnancy with no problems. Don't get discouraged. The metformin will help. I recommend spironolactone to be taken too. I think the combination makes it have a better chance to heal the body. Ask your doctor what he or she thinks. My cysts were gone after the therapy and I think that might have contributed to me not having miscarriages and naturally getting pregnant, even though I still have PCOS in my body. I gained weight again, but at least I know the cysts are gone.

Thank you @niceice0010 I actually am taking metformin. I started taking it in December and then I got pregnant in January. Tho I haven't had a period and I miscarried last Monday. But I hear stories about not being able to have a baby after a miscarriage. Tho my doctor has stated that I can have another baby that the miscarriage has nothing to do with me conceiving again. But I already have a lot of trouble getting pregnant as it is.

I have PCOS too. Thank God I didn't have a miscarriage! I'm sorry to hear you did! My sister doesn't have PCOS, BUT she had a miscarriage :(.... it all depends on your body. I'm sure you will be able to have a normal pregnancy! Just don't get discouraged dear! With me when I was a teenager I took metformin and spironolactone for the PCOS. Metformin made me lose weight and regulate my insulin levels and spironolactone removed the small cysts on my ovaries and cleaned my skin too! If you consider doing this therapy at least the cysts will be gone and the insulin will become regulated for sure and for sure your chances of having a miscarriage will be lowered dramatically like me. It took 1 year and a couple of months for my cysts to be removed completely with the spironolactone and metformin combination. Maybe you can try doing this first to get confidence back!

Short Luteal Phase?

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
