So my LO has thrown up 2 times today a few mintues after a feeding I took her to the doctors about this last week and they told me its because of my letdown and I thought it was as well but ive been putting that in either a bottle or a towel and then feeding her while the flow is slower and I also burp her after every feeding as well I just don't know what to do or if it sounds like a dairy allergy..If this keeps happening I might have to switch to formula and I really don't want to do that.

I read somewhere that keeping baby upright after a feeding for 20-30 minutes helps with that.

Breastfeeding is really great for the both of you and there are many speed bumps obviously nothing against formula but if you have breastfed a whole month I would suggest pumping this way you control the flow of milk intake and she still gets your milk .

@realbluntbrunette I'll try that but sometimes she wont even take the bottle she just wants to be on my boob and I noticed that her poo is mucusy and when I give her the bottle she does this gagging face.

@celiesmommy01, maybe you should try an elimination diet for yourself, then you can figure out what she may have trouble digesting

Lay down and put her on top of you to feed. It's supposed to slow your flow. Could also be something you ate. I cannot eat peanut butter or my daughter will vomit all day.

@ravens_mommy I did this this morning and she threw up on me. And im not sure what I ate that is not agreeing with her.

Is she burping after eating? Not burping supposedly also causes excessive spit up.
I didn't know it was the peanut butter until one day all I ate was a pb&j and she got sick. I can't even eat a pb m&m without her getting sick. It's insane.

@ravens_mommy Yeah I do burp her but sometimes she wont burp or shell do this little burp. And im thinking its all the dairy Ive been eating im going to not eat dairy for a few weeks and see if that was the problem because her poo is all mucusy is well and i read that is a sign of an allergy

Both my daughter and son did this it was cause they have acid reflux...my daughter took a reflux medicine ratidine I think that's how u spell it til she was 7 months when she out grew her reflux and my son is currently taking it now he started at 0.6ml now 1.2ml and he doesn't throw up after feeding anymore so u might ask ur doctor if that could be the issue

@nhenson23 Im thinking so as well but ill talk to her doctor about it on the 4th when we go in for her 2 month check up
