I feel like the worst mom right now😭 I just got my daughter back from her grandmother who she's been with since Friday. I get her home play with her give her a cookie in her swing and went to clean up a little. before I knew it she broke out of her swing and fell out on the floor she was crying and I just picked her up carried her around while I made her a bottle and she cheered up looking at herself in the mirror. there is not even a mark on her from falling but I just feel shitty for it even happening. how was she even able to break out of the swing it has a lap bar with a button! either my baby is hulk or the swing malfunctioned!😢 hopefully she will nap and we can go to the park with dad and uncle when she wakes up.

You can baby proof the hell out of your house and do everything right, and the child is still going to find a way to hurt themselves. It's just part of being a baby. You're not a bad mom in the slightest because of it. she'll forget all about it soon enough.
Every time my kids get a bonk around their dad or grandpa, the response is "break it off and rub it in the dirt!" 😂😂

thank you @kitcatmeow8383 you made me realize that yeah, she will get hurt. if she's anything like me she'll probably get into trouble like I did 😂 and like you said, I'll be there to pick her up each time! just seeing those tears it makes my breath stop😣 wonder if all mom's feel that or just me?

@rhealize my bf does the same if our baby falls on the carpet from standing he'll tell her "haha". I guess there is no such thing as baby proof lol just a baby obstacles 😂

My three year old knows how to get through every baby lock out there by now. Just this morning I found my whole (brand new, mind you) bottle of olive oil dumped out on the couch and the floor. There's no stopping them 😂
