How do you help someone whose been the victim of domestic violence? My best friends husband was abusive. He beat the crap out of her multiple times until the very last time when he almost killed her and I called the cops in her town because she wasn’t going to. She left him, but he keeps trying to weezle his way back in. This morning he arrived with a police escort to get the rest of his stuff from the apartment. There is a TPO in place. That asshole tried to kiss her when the cops weren’t looking and she didn’t say anything. Like you haven’t already done enough to her already?!?!? You’ve broken her. How can I help her to move past him and heal herself? Can I help her to move past him? Are there support groups for women who’ve left a DV situation?

So something happened today and it’s just been really bothering me all day...Today my brother was at a flea market and out of nowhere a lady stops by and asks him if he could watch her puppy while she went to the restroom ,so out of heart he agreed to help this woman out. Turns out she never came back for the puppy💔 I was really heartbroken to see how exhausted he looked,so I decided to bring the little pup home. He’s looking so much better and up beat! ...How can someone be so heartless though?!😭

Still maybe look into "boxer rescues" in texas. Browse what they have and see if you can find a puppy. I had to give up my older dog because it was wayyy too much with a baby. I can't imagine a puppy with a new baby. I was exhausted between the two of them

Would you consider adopting? 😕 sometimes rescues have puppies. But older dogs are easier for you and will be good with the baby.
