Tips to dry up milk supply? I woke up dying this morning 😣
Hmmm. Well i was told for the first three months its based on hormones after that its based on stimulation. It seems to be common to dry up around this time though
To me it's not worth it to be able to only feed her every 12 hours and have to still take precautions of nursing (no certain types of medication, no drinking, nursing bras, etc) and I'm not on birth control so I really don't know what cause my supply to drop that badly.
I was just at nursing her on demand. One week I was looking at donating my milk because I had an over supply and the next it was just gone. I took Benedryl yesterday, maybe I'll keep using that. @shellymakuk93,
Also do you use birth control because mine was a cause of it drying up too.
Oh okay. Well prednisone or zertec will help. You should probably only take zertec if you have allergies. Howd you keep your supply up for that long? Do you nurse or did you just pump?
My milk supply dropped significantly in three days so now I'm just trying to dry up the last little bit, I can only feed her twice a day it's so low. @shellymakuk93,
They use to get a shot from the doctor to dry it up. I believe it only takes a week.
I drink still. I do what i want i just to have wait a certain number of hours
