Help! I've had a Mirena IUD for a year now. I feel pregnant, I missed a period this month my last period was around the second week of February. A couple weeks ago I had some super light bleeding, not even enough for a small pad and it was brown colored. I've been nauseous, extremely fatigue and moody. I feel exactly like I did during early pregnancy with my first baby. Any ideas?!
Oh yeah I forgot to
Mention I took a test and it was negative. I just thought it was weird because my period has always been normal while on Mirena for the last year.
Have you tested yet? If not, that would be my first step. If it comes out negative then it's probably just your body adjusting to the hormones in your birth control. I know the mirena stops periods for a lot of people.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
How often do you check for your strings? If they're still where they should be, I don't think it's pregnancy, per say. But get a home test just in case. After the first year with a Mirena, it's not uncommon that your periods stop altogether.
Drink lots of water and eat healthy for now, but if a home test comes back negative and your symptoms get worse, or you can't feel your strings, call up your OB. They'll be able to walk you through steps to figure out what's going on.
