I liked using the bottles with weighed straws. They could get the drink no matter which way they turned the bottle and it made transitioning to regular sippie cups easier. Now I just go with those cheap, 99 cent ones at Walmart. (No matter what you do, the kid is going to find a way around the "spill proof" lids 😂) They're also easy to replace if they get lost.

My son likes Nuk brand. It's so weird how some kids only like 1 brand.
