All they do is use a little needle and open it. It doesn't hurt the baby at all.

they gave me drops & his eye seems to be better. what do they do when it is a clogged duct? @ashcos

I figured that is what it was. With a blocked tear duct they can't do anything with it until a yr old. Well here anyway. They won't. But glad it wasn't anything to serious. Glad he is ok :))

hi guys, my baby is okay. dr says his tear duct might be clogged & that it should go away before 4 months. if it doesnt ill have to go to an eye dr @ashcos @luuuuuucyyy

Definitely breast milk helps

It could be a blocked tear duct as well my son has one and his eye is mucousy and watery and had a discharge. Use breast milk warm compresses

you don't need to wait that long call the doctors office to go in right away if you can

Do it every 30 mins and warm compressions. Wipe it down with wash cloths

ive been doing that but it doesnt seem to help for long @luuuuuucyyy

at first i didnt worry about it but i looked it up online & read that its something to treat asap so now im really worried ugh :( @ginz
