Ladies. If your having sinus problems please do not use any over the counter sinus and cold meds. Ive been having sinus issues, so i went to the doctor. Im glad i did, because the only thing you can do for it while pregnant for these symptoms are;
Stuffiness and runny noise; prescribed nasal spray. Nasal rinse.
Sore throat and cough; non med sore throat relief only drops. Honey, and garling salt water.
The reason why is because when your pregnant taking any of the over the counter sinus and cold meds can harm the baby. As in keeping blood from getting to the baby. So please please please if your having these problems please follow my tips above. Do not resort to the over the counter meds. Go to the doctore first please. Im glad i did because i didnt know those things could cause that. Im glad i didnt take them. I wouldve been heart broken if i lost my little one to taking the wrong meds.

My doctor provided with a list of perfectly safe meds to take while pregnant. They aren't all bad, you just need to know what is safe and what isn't

@michsept the doctor i saw for this told me all of the over the counter ones have the same risk. Id rather not take the chance. Instead id rather just keep to the alternatives that i know are safe

@mcrowell0970 normally i dont get sick but as usual during pregnancy your immune system weakens because its supporting the baby

@mcrowell0970 im just glad it hasnt fully developed into a cold, and it hasnt gotten worse than a cold

you can take Benadryl because my doctor has me on Benadryl

take it about 1hour before bed it helps that's what I do

@lacyjaymedal1 just noticed that i put an "e" on the end of doctor in my post. Slightly irratated at that. I know i mispell words alot but that literally just messed with my OCD. Sorry i know thats off topic, but like really? I cant belive i did that.
