Any mommas with babies with hearing loss? My little one failed his newborn screening in his right was and today he saw an audiologist who said he has significant hearing loss in both ears. He responds to sounds but she said he won't be able to hear enough to learn to talk unless he gets hearing aids. So now we're waiting to see an ENT specialist.
I know it could be worse and that with hearing aids he'll probably have a very normal life but I'm still so upset over it. I hate to think that he can't hear me tell him I love him or that he might never be able to speak normally. It's just so new and scary to me.

It's gonna be okay. Cry and be as upset as you need to. Then pick yourself up and be strong. He WILL hear you and every word you say, with or without hearing aids, so you just do what you have to do to make it happen. Educate yourself and then be his biggest advocate. You got this, Mama.
Yes my son is deaf along with my husband and my toddler has his hearing test Monday lol as a mom of course it's upsetting because you want them to be "normal" but I promise it gets easier! Here if u need it
