So I'm still learning with foods and formula/breastmilk. I asked WIC how much I should be giving and they weren't helpful. So I've just been giving him normal afternoon bottles and night bottles but when he eats solids for dinner I usually will give him 4oz bottle then he will eAt a whole stage 2 In One sitting and I read something last night where he should only have 2tbps of food... I'm so confused. Should I give him a larger bottle and less solids? Or idk, I don't want to over feed him but I don't want it to be to little either. Usually If he is full he will let me know when it comes to a bottle at least. We are still new to solids though. #firsttimemom

He's 6 months old? I have my son his morning bottles, after noon bottles and before bed I gave him his baby food. If he wanted more after the first was gone, i gave him more. If he still seemed hungry, i let his belly settle and gave him a bottle after a bath before bed time. I fed him when he acted hungry. He is 2 years old and is still "underweight" even though he is short for his age and was born small.

I think asking his Dr would be best. They can go by baby's weight and let you know if he is underfed of not. I say go with your instinct. I know you are a first time mommy but your instincts will kick in if they haven't already. No worries I am more than sire you are doing a fine job momma bear ❤

My son usually drinks 4 7oz bottles during the day then I'll feed him a solid at night (he eats a full stage 2 pouch) and then drinks another 7oz bottle. He's 7 months now but has been eating like this since he turned 6 month. His doctor said that was fine :)

They say to give the food before the milk but if he eats both then your good and it's fine that he eats that much
