Thoughts on getting little boy's ears pierced??? My wife keeps asking/suggesting to do it, but I'm kinda liiiiikkkkkeeee 🤔🤔🤔
He'll be 8 months old soon, and if he'd been born a girl, I would've gotten them pierced as soon as they allow them to be done (I believe it's after their first set of shots if I remember correctly)... But, idk... The fact that he's a boy has me hesitant to do it... And then, if I did do it, would I pierce both? Or just one???... 🤔🤔🤔

its up to you but i wouldnt do it to a boy , people might pick on him as he grows up ☹️

Having a little boy ears pierced is cute to me. I would just go with one so that way people don't mistake him as a girl. N once he gets older he can decide if he wants the other side pierced

I've pierced all 3 of my boys ears, they are 12,8,7 and they are at the age whether they want it or not and they all have decided to keep them they even pick out the stud earrings they want. They haven't gotten bullied or teased for it most kids have them and most don't. It's really up to you mama until they get to a certain age to tell you they like it or not. I will soon be piercing my 6 months old ear.@kala_elise

It's really up to you but if I had a boy I'd probably wait until he wanted them, or old enough for me to ask him.

I waited and left it up to my son. He got them pierced at 12 and they're slightly gauged at 14yo.

Thanks for your input ladies... I often hear people say that ear piercings should be left up to the child, but I got them done as a baby, I had my daughter's done as a baby... I didn't pierce my older son's ears (he'll be 12 in May) because his dad was completely against it... I've seen so many cute lil boys around my neighborhood with them pierced (I stay in Detroit), but I noticed that if you go to more suburban neighborhoods, you don't see it as often... I guess if I chose to get them done and he later decided he doesn't like them, he could always take them out... Earrings or not, the way that I dress him, it'd be near impossible for people to mistake him for a lil girl. He's always in Jordans, Nikes and jogging suits...... Anyways... Thanks again everyone... Just wanted a little bit of input coz my wife wants to get them done. #LifeWith2Moms

I think for a boy you should wait until he can decide. He might not want them. A girl might not either but I think a boy might see it a girly
