Be honest and come out with it. People do not like to be told when they are in the wrong but I think it's worse when you allow someone to keep doing whatever it is that irritates, annoys, or hurts.being blunt can suck but it's worth it.

I had to tell one of my friends that because she kept saying just give him formula at night no biggie but I personally don't want to give him formula unless it's needed I love breastfeeding him. So one day I just said I get it your LO sleeps great on formula but my son is BF and the milk sits differently because it's not as heavy and I appreciate the concern for my sleep but the advice your giving me isn't helpful. I breastfeed and formula feed but I totally agree with you that their sleeping patterns are very different. I alternate with both. Just tell her. I mean it seems like she's not educated on the whole breast milk vs formula. Does she breastfeed?
