31 weeks today! I hope it flys by! I want my baby boy here so bad! (After the baby shower of course) but the shower is only 17 days away! 😍 I'm feeling a little anxiety about labor &a delivery...my last appointment my midwife said he's head down and getting ready for his big debut! Which is exciting but scary! FTM...any advice!

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
I really thought I was getting a baby shower and like no one has even thought about giving me one. This is my first baby i mean no one has to do anything for me I just at least thought they had plans for me and they don’t. They gave my uncle one because his wife didn’t want one because she already had a kid.And everyone got a baby shower and was giving one .But I guess it’s okay. I’ll do my own baby shower with my next child I just thought family planned a baby shower for you . Lol guess I thought wrong.
I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.

Yes! @emileemoreland5, I'm planning on getting an epidural, how dilated were you? That's what I'm hoping happens to me!! I'm very excited and very nervous!!! I have so many questions..lol
