So we will be getting on a plane in a few weeks to go to Disney world. Any advice on flying with a 2 year old? This is also my first time getting on a plane to.

Lots of snacks and a variety of snacks and new books/activities and toys. Rasins, the sprout rice&beet fruit snacks, grapes seem to be my daughters favorties while on a plane. She loves those window clings they are reusable unlike Stickers. (Flight attendants dont always appreciate stickers or playdoh since they can be messy and hard to clean) we bought her a doodle board and she loved it! Sticky notes are great with triangle Crayons that way the Crayons don't roll and after coloring on the sticky note they can display it on the tray or on the side of the plane. If you have a tablet you can load it with new games/shows. My daughter loves Daniel tiger. If you plan to let your child watch their tablet id also bring toddler headphones. You can bring those food pouches on the plane which makes for a great snack. If you can I would get your child their own seat and bring the carseat on board, your child is probably use to it from sitting in it in the car and it is more comfortable and familiar to them which makes for a smooth flight. I would also bring a lightweight umbrella stroller to gate check if you have a layover. Pack as light of a carry on as you can. It's hard to find what you need in a big over packed bag. I also recommend bringing those Doggy stink bags, they make great trash bags while waiting for the flight attendant to come around and if your child has an accident you can keep the clothes/diaper contained in there. Antibacterial wipes are a must for cleaning the windows/trays/ the entire plane. Those things are filled with germs and they hardly ever get wiped down. Just try to stay calm overall, everything should go real smooth. I watched a bunch of "toddler on airplane" youtube videos before I flew. But we have been flying with my daughter since she was 3 months and she has been on 14 plane rides (most of them cross country) and she is 2 right know. Good luck mama :)

Have a bottle with juice or milk, have them drink when you take off for they can do the swallow motion to pop their ears at take off. If not, they will be crying about pressure in their ears. If it's your first time, do the same thing... bring gum and swallow your saliva or drink. Bring a portable DVD player with some headphones or use your phone when it's allow with headphones for they can watch something to distract them.
