Anyone here have any experience with an ECV (External cephalic version), manually turning a breech baby? I'm going to schedule my procedure for next week but I am taking a few days to consider the pros and cons of the ECV or just scheduling a C Section. Advice???
Our Tiger Cub arrived this am one day before his scheduled csection weighing a whopping 9 pounds 6 ounces at 6:46 am. Ill update soon ladies ❤

Scheduled C-section moms I've noticed some of you already have C-Sections scheduled and I am curious as to why? I'm not being judgy I promise :)

I'm really hoping she flips soon. I'm sure you're feeling the same. My baby has been Frank breech since about 27 weeks. Same position 😑 @alanamarie it's so frustrating because I wanted everything as natural as possible but it doesn't seem like that's going to be in our cards.

One of my friends had this done at 34 weeks. She was in a lot of pain for about 3 days, her stomach was pretty bruised. She did have to be monitored for about 4 hours after the procedure because she was having contractions, but they didn't end up progressing. Ultimately she was glad she did it, she figured she wouldn't have been in more pain for longer if she had opted for a c section.

Yes! I've heard a lot of people with your experience. Who opt out of it due to the risks. I honestly wanted to have a vaginal birth so bad and I'm wondering if I wait to schedule the c section maybe she'll flip. But then again I don't want to miss out on the ECV because I've seen a few great and quick success stories on YouTube 😩 then again. Heard of a lot of horror stories. This is so hard to decide. @jayraemama

@nicoler, Hmmm thank you! That story makes me feel hopeful. I'm like 80% invested in making my ECV appointment but at the same time I'm still kind of worried that it won't be successful and might hurt baby.

The doctors were forcing me to do this with my son , I know someone who did it & baby turned right back I didn't want to risk it but this time of baby stays breech I may do it I don't want another c section

I'd try. Anything is better than a c section
