My daughter finally takes the bottle after exclusively breastfeeding her. Now, I breastfeed her at night and I give her a bottle with breastmilk during the day 😊👏🏼 I can finally get things done lol

I just can’t win tonight! Was going to make Eliana a bottle and dropped the cereal bent down to pick it up forgetting I had an open bottle with formula in it and the bottle spilled all in my carpet 🤦🏻 ♀ And before anyone adds any smart comments... yes I put cereal in my almost 4 month olds bottles! No it’s not to make her “sleep longer” but to help with her reflux! If you don’t like it just keep scrolling 🤷🏻 ♀
My baby is still on the size bottles that you get in hospital because the tete on the tommee tippee bottles (and any other bottle) is too big for her... but i think I need to get her on the normal bottles now but is she still to small? She’s just over 6 pounds 🤔... Or what is everyone else using to bottle feed baby at about that weight ?

My daughter is less fussy and sleeps longer when I give her breastmilk from a bottle than my breast. I still feed her from me but I'm liking the new routine with the bottle.

@morganmommy79, me too, she would give me a hard time but now that she takes it she loves it. I just have to work on building milk supply as far as always having milk in the freezer but it's been hard for me. Usually she's hungry so I have to pump and give her a bottle instead of putting it in the freezer.

I supplement with formula ONLY when needed so I can build my supply. I had to. I returned to work yesterday and didn't have enough milk stock. But I've got a good start and she only gets formula about 1-2 times a day. I pump less now because I get more milk. I pump 3x a day, morning, afternoon and evening. That gets me through my 4 hour work day (was 6) and I feed her when I get home.

I'm gonna start trying to pump for a colonoscopy & have to get my baby use to a bottle for that day. What kind of bottle did she take? We've tried Avent before & she got mad at it. Lol she's EBF & doesn't do any pacifiers & we've only tried the bottle once.

@mom2lynniejade88, my daughter hates pacifiers she won't take it lol and well, I tried a few times when she was younger and she just wouldn't take it and recently I gave her a bottle to see if she would take it and she surprisingly did without me having to try it was on her own time she decided to take it lol but you can try the munchkin latch.. she loves that one!!
