Has any other mommies had asthma bad before pregnancy and in 2nd trimester it get way worse? It might be the pollen but…

Me but iv had asthma all my life and living here in Colorado with the altitude being so high when it's freezing outside is when it gets horrible but my doctor told me to use my regular inhaler which is albuterol

I have asthma. This is my first pregnancy and I'm still in the first trimester. I have noticed myself needing to catch my breath while walking to/from the store which before I could have easily walked to with no problems at all.

I think it might be a stronger version of proair. My mom takes that every 4 hours. But I am on arnuity elliptica. I take it once daily. @twinmomma2b

I'm gonna ask her the 28th if I need something different @pinkxoxo

It's called ventolin I'm not sure if it's a rescue one or not @athomas

@twinmomma2b oh good. Also they half safe steroid inhalers you can take daily as well that are stronger. Is it the rescue inhaler you are taking?

@twinmomma2b, it makes me shaky but I rather be shaky then not being able to breathe

I have had asthma since before I had kids.When I got pregnant with my daughter my asthma acted up a lot. It didn't really help when I got bigger with her either. The inhaler did nothing for me at all and the doctor wouldn't put me on anything else so I just delt with it for the last 3 months of my pregnancy.

I'm probably gonna call tomorrw and ask if I can do my inhaler more than every 4hrs if needed. And thank you @athomas

@athomas yeah I'm already there now it's so bad 😩 it always feels like they are both trying to wedge as close up as possible and I start getting a sharp pain in my rib lung area

@twinmomma2b it sure does. Just wait until the baby get bigger. I can't bend over, put my pants, socks or shoes on without having trouble breathing. It usually takes about 5 minutes to get my breath back

Yea the inhaler does nothing for me I have to use the nebulizer

@twinmomma2b yep sometimes I wake myself up at night weezing. I had to get a pack of prednisone to help me.

@pinkxoxo they gave me a inhaler to use that's safe for the babies but only one puff like every 4 to 6 hrs. Some times it's not enough and I still Weezer

Yes with my son & now my daughter it's really bad they had to give me the nebulizer
