Need some advice I'm 35 weeks pregnant when should I put in for my maternity leave?

Idk my lower back has been hurting for the past few days..could that be a sign??

I suggest packing your baby bag now. Or at least write a list of what you want to take.

You could have gone into labor months ago. They process is different for everyone unfortunately. My first child I went 42 weeks and my second was 41. This time around I started contracting at 32 weeks and had to be put on bedrest and have my contractions stopped.

When is the soonest anyone can go into labor just in general so I'm prepared I have all her clothes ready and everything @beebaby

You can put the paperwork in for your delivery date and if you go sooner they can change it

Thanks love @beebaby just wasn't sure I know if I stay at the job I'm at I'll still get to see her everyday even after the 6 weeks is up

If you want to spend the full 6 weeks with baby I would wait until you deliver. If you go on maternity leave say a week before you only get 5 weeks before your back to work

Your doctor can put you on for 36w if you're doing disability. If not its up to how comfortable you are! Mine came early so thank god I was on leave
