I will put out there that I was in an abusive relationship but it's so heart breaking to know that it's what A LOT of you mommies are going through too. I am a SINGLE mom at 21 and have two jobs and am working my absolute hardest for my daughter and still finding the time in each day to make sure I see her. I left her father before she was born due to all of the abuse I went through emotionally, mentally, verbally, and physically. I did my entire pregnancy alone while all my girlfriends had their SO with them every step of the way. Unfortunately that's what a lot of moms these days have been through or are going through and I just want to let you ladies know you are amazing. You are everything to your child/children and you are worth so much more than what your abuser once said. If you're going through any kind of abuse, just know you are worthy of love, you are beautiful, and you are a fighter. You deserve to be loved for everything you are and everything you aren't. I learned that I need to show my daughter how she should be treated so I got it together, moved on from my abuser, and now I work my butt off to provide for my daughter. To me a modern mom can take all the punches thrown at her by life. Pick herself back up, and keep moving forward for your kiddos. Women in this day and age have so much at their finger tips now. As modern mommies we should utilize all we have to offer and show our little ones what life is all about 💜

I've finally gotten to the frame of mind where I'm excited to see where life takes us and I know I will find a man to show Karoline how her mommy should treated. One day 🙌🏻💕 but for now it's just me and her 👩👧

Well written momma. I'm sorry you went though all that. I can't imagine. I did get pregnant at 20 and had my son at 21- I was single through the entire pregnancy with no one to share the love and excitement though.. My husband came into my son's and my life when my little guy was 3 months old... didn't expect to find such an amazing guy who loves my son like his own, who WANTED to be a dad and who loved me for who I was and who I am now. I hope someday you find someone who can show you what a real man is like and who loves your daughter and teaches her how a man should treat a lady. *hugs!

I literally went through the exact same thing! I left my ex fiancé when I was about 8 weeks, right after my first ultrasound. I saw my sweet angel and decided that there was no way I could expose this innocent child to such a toxic environment, EVER. I blocked him and his family out and haven't heard from then in over a year. I go to school full time, and work when I can, and hardly have time to breathe. So I completely understand you! It is so rewarding to look back and see how absolutely strong we are, raising children by ourselves and supporting them, and also setting an example for them with working and school, etc. you're doing a great job!
