Does anyone have suggestions on potty training? My daughter will be 3 in a month and I've been trying to potty train her for months. Some days she does great and others she just refuses to use the potty.

I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. Questions for older kids: when did ya'll start potty training? Is before 18 months to soon or no? How long did it take to get them potty trained?

ok mama's any tips for potty training at 13 month old?? Do I just sit her on the potty every 30 mins or hour??? Does it matter that's she's not yet walking? And please no negitive comments🙅🙅🙅

We had to use pull ups only for going outside and regular underwear inside (which meant lots of laundry for me lol). But one other thing that had a positive influence for us were those nursery rhymes channels on YouTube. Many of them have "potty" songs. So the kids like them and try to imitate. That's what I was originally doing and she was doing really good. She had got hospitalized last year and it threw her off. Now I work a lot so I take her when I can. She goes between 3 households too. When she is at my parents they try to enforce it like I do but she goes to her dads on the weekends and he won't try at all. @mamabishop

If you're home all day sit her on the potty with her favorite book, toy, tablet or TV show..I did that for my oldest and had her trained at 1 1/2...We moved and it threw her off but it worked...Take her to the potty every time you go as well...Make her sit there just like you @smiley1317
