@justjazz honestly babe you don't need it quite yet if your baby is only a week or 2 old. Your milk is still coming in and if you start using supplements to increase your supply you'll suffer from engorgement.
@cubanese, @amandacn, @lindastevens393971, @ginz, @_mama.mia_, thank you ladies I am thinking about getting that mother's milk tea I've heard good review
The kind of milk you drink doesn't make a difference in your breast milk production.
Your milk will come in if it hasn't already. My milk came on the 5th or 6th day then leveled out a week or so later. Continue to nurse every 2 hrs so that it comes in then levels out based on your babies needs.
Drink lots of water and eat oatmeal. It really helps!! Be patient and it will eventually increase. Mine took a while to come in when my girl was first born. Good luck. Oh and feeding your baby cows milk is bad idea for many reasons. Just google it. Besides your baby needs the nutrients in your breast milk. @justjazz,
They make milkmaid tea, which is said to increase your supply. Also drinking lots of water, making sure you're getting enough sleep, and eating enough are all factors of producing a good amount. If you plan to pump you can power pump, pump for 10 minutes, take a 10 minute break, pump for 10 more Take a 20 minute break then pump for 10 more minutes. It makes your body think your baby is going through a growth spirt and it'll make you produce more
