Got a question... I'm having a baby Girl but am wondering how often once she is born do we give her baths? I know that the umbilical cord shouldn't be submerged in water but not sure since its been so long since I've had a baby and honestly don't remember much from that time... just wondering... thanks ladies!
P.S. she will be born in May, in Chattanooga TN where it's fairly warm during the summertime.
Yes spong baths until it fall's off, it drys up fast when you clean it with rubbing alcohol @musicash89
@musicash89 Yes, just a sponge bath whenever you see fit. My daughters fell off quickly so she only got one, at the hospital
And otherwise we just wipe her down like a sponge bath right? @amandacn
What about before it falls off
After the umbilical cord comes off every 2-3 days so her skin doesn't dry out too much.

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️
Mother rant
I want to start off this rant with: I love my mom, she is amazing and has helped so much since ds was born and she will be an even bigger help when ds2 is born.
My baby girl couldn't wait for June 8th to be born. She decided to come this morning🤗😊😍

Trigger. Our precious boy
Last night, December 8th, 2015, at 9:58pm, our sweet precious baby boy was born sleeping. We spent 5 wonderful hours with him: holding him, talking to him, singing to him, mourning him, praying for him, and weeping over him.
what's the chance a baby will make it born at 32 weeks? Just wondering...
@amandacn ok. I don't remember how long it took my sons to fall off but thank you for answering. Me and my husband have been talking about it for a couple days now.
