@mrs_velez my son is constipated too and my doc said said you can either give them a teaspoon of prune juice Karo syrup or olive oil but she said doesn't matter what Karo syrup, did any of them work for him

my son has the same problem and his ped has said 1oz pear juice with 2oz of water and peas or green beans. so far it seems to help but the thermometer helps ALOT @mrs_velez,

Her dr said dark Karo syrup mixed with warm water

See if your ped will OK prune juice. Or you can try rectal temp with Vaseline, wiggle the tip of the thermometer around the edges (gross I know) but it helps stimulate his bottom to go
