Fuck you lighter mornings 🖕 my child now thinks it's acceptable to get up before 6 for the day 😩🙈

Have you tried blackout blinds or curtains hun works a treat especially when the sun doesn't go down till late in the summer too, when we lived in our old place I used to stick sheets of black paper on Caitlin's window and then close her curtains used to work well maybe it's worth giving it a go xx

We have black out blinds. I think they help a little. Hate that we have to leave them here when we move!!

@gabilicious, @sara-lou, yeah I have thought about black out blinds, but wth being at Craig's mums, our room has one of them windows that come out if you know what I mean? And we're in the middle of arranging to move out so I'd have to pay for custom fitted ones only to have to leave them here after a month or so. Maybe I'll give the black paper a shot for now 😂 5:50 am is not a good time to get up. Especially as by the time I got in from work and got ready for bed it was 1 am 🙄

Both my boys woke up at 6.20 today. Felt like a lie in 😂 Max is always up around 5/5.30 but Morgan usually sleeps a bit later.

Oh yeah that's understandable, black paper ain't as good but it should help a little, what about blackout curtains Huns ? Then when you move you could take them with you, try and have a nap before when he has his you need rest Hun x

Same here @sara-lou, Caitlin didn't get up till 6:17 I was laying in bed didn't know what to do not used to her sleeping past 5:30 but it was still lovely

@sara-lou, oh gosh is that what I have to look forward to- 6:20 becomes a lay in?! 🙈 my lay in was about 7:30 8! @gabilicious, curtains is a better idea, our bed is in the cove of the window though, so the curtain rail is actually half way over our bed, maybe I'll pull them back so they sit behind the headboard 🤔 I know what you mean, I'm absolutely nakered lately. OH is currently having issues with his boss so not at work to piss him off and he's not been getting up until 1 in the afternoon, really starting to piss me off. I never expected him to get up with charlie when he was at work but now he's not I don't see why we can't split it! Sorry to rant lol but it goes in one ear out the other with him. Xx

Haha yeah I still woke at 5.30 @gabilicious as I guess my bodies used to it. So was just laying there until I heard them both wake up. Morgan can sleep in till 7 occasionally. But I'll be up with Max anyways lol. The husband & I usually take it in turns for a lie in at weekends but we've been so busy recently it's not happened.

Yeah that might be an idea Hun and give your partner a kick up the arse you work he don't at the moment so he needs to do his part at home x

@sara-lou, same I just laid there usually the dog can sense her waking up so I waited for the dog to go sit outside her door then made the bed and got her she was pretty happy with herself, wish me and hubby would take turns, he was supposed to have a day off today but got a call last night to come in this morning so that's another day off out the window, maybe on Mother's Day I'll have my chance lol
