After you're out of the hospital from giving birth, how long after did you get on birth control and which brand do you prefer? And are you required to take birth control or is that something you just do so you're not cramped with kids within a year?
I was told I have to get on birth control as soon as I pushed my daughter out into the world (my mother says this^^) so I would have to speak with my doctor about it.

It's entirely up to you and what you are comfortable with. I had a friend who went on birth control within a couple days I think after she had her son. When I have mine, hopefully within this next year or so, I probably won't get back on birth control for a while cuz I kinda wanna have kids close in age. But we will see what happens. So it's up to you what you wanna do.

It's your choice I had nexplenon but my body couldn't handle it so I had it removed I'm thinking about getting the copper iud this time as it's non hormonal

Usually you have a 6 weeks post partum appointment. And that's when they discuss but h control with you.

Depends what you choose I guess. Typically at your post partum checkup though.

Yep. Just like the ladies said above. At your 6 weeks pp checkup. Of course considering you don't have sex for 6 weeks. If you do have sex before that, wear protection as you could get pregnant right away.

I JUST started taking birth control my daughter is 7 months... I'm taking the pill but im getting headaches and breaking out on my chest so I'll try doing the shot
