Every nap & night I have nursed my son to sleep. He is now 14 months his dr. suggested that I stop this.
I just spent the last hour crying my eyes out in the dark with a screaming little boy who doesn't understand. I'm sure he thinks I'm just being mean. I hate this as much as he does!! He never sucks his finger and he did tonight to conform himself because to him his mommy wasn't. My heart is shattered!!!! I have never felt so low as a mother. 💔😭💔😭💔😭🙏🙏🙏

nurse him. he'll wean when he's ready... don't cut cold turkey.. tough on your body and him.. slowly cut out one feeding a week

I think u should nurse him, why did the doctor suggest that? It's ur baby do what u please breastfeeding soothes them

You should slowly do it . But then again I wouldn't stop now that u started since your only going to confuse him

I understand his doctors reasoning but we're just not ready for this. I think I'm going to try to take him for a drive.

I nursed my son at night well past 14mos and one day I tried and he just didn't want to. Baby will stop when he and you are both ready and it won't be so hard. You don't have to feel rushed.

Don't be hard on yourself. You are so lucky that you still nurse him.
Some mom doesn't even produce milk after 3 months.
He's healthy, happy boy and that's a blessing.
I have a 1 year old and he would not sleep unless we put him to sleep. He would hysterically cry for an hour (yes we timed it) and PROJECTILE if we don't put him to sleep.
So we decided to just put him to sleep until he's able to sleep on his own.
