What does green poo in a breastfed baby mean

My babies poop turns green when I ate something that upset his stomach

When i take prenatals sometimes my babies poop will turn green

Sometimes it could just be you had something with more iron in it. That could be iron fortified poop.

My baby had green seedy poop today. She's Allergic to cows milk though so she's breast an formula fed but I gave her all. Breastmilk yesterday @kambam

It could be sensitivity to something you've eaten, or an imbalance of foremilk/hindmilk intake @aliakr @jujubee2772 sometimes green is just normal depending how green

Could be from something you ate, but sometimes it means the baby is getting too much fore milk when nursing. Especially if it is green and frothy! Best way to fix that is to have the baby nurse a little longer on one side before switching. But if it happens occasionally and not all the time then it's nothing to worry about 😄
