Is anybody left job on their maternity leave? I'm really thinking of resigning from my work even just thinking about that place making me nervous and sick I don't want to work in a place which would make me fell down or depressed. If anybody left job on their maternity leave do we need to repay the money we got on maternity leave or we are "safe" to leave work without any problems??

If it's standard smp you don't have to pay it back. I left with my first and second and didn't need to pay any back x

I got paid maternity from work and was told I needed to go back to work for 3 months to pay it back before I left otherwise I would have to pay it all back if I didn't go back. But there might be some loop holes be best ringing citezens advices see how they can help xx

It sounds like your describing my work place @jo1993 haha im the same as you i am absolutley dreading going back iv worked there 9 years and its terrible! The job itself i love its the people there, their bullies and i am so glad at the moment to be on maternity from them all x

I'm pretty sure you don't have to pay SMP back but anything above they are entitled to ask for
