Depends on what you're drinking and your weight.

For me, if I have a 4oz glass of wine, I wait about 2 hrs for it to metabolize before I'm able to nurse.

I drank a beer a day in the beginning and it made my milk supply increase dramatically. Just don't get hammered. 😉

I drink one beer that's less than 6%, wait at least two hours to nurse, for wine it's one 4oz glass
