My husband's brother went to jail for molesting a lil girl and he'll be getting out soon, also his dad is a chronic smoker and used to sell drugs from the house. His dad watches her now because we have noone else. His dad lives with his cousin and his cousin used to sell drugs I'm not sure if he still does. I just want to know of I could bring that up as a concern to make my case stronger
Anything can be brought up in court the more proof you have the better you're case will be. Keep all text messages, if you can take pictures of any issuses make sure you write the date and time it was taken. They can look up anyone's record that will be around you're child. Also keep a journal and if anything happens you want the judge to know always have the date time and issue written down. You may want to get a lawyer as well. Does he have a mental isssue may want to request a medical evaluation on him? And if he's never had a over night alone with your child you can request no over nights for him. They will always do what's in the child best interest.
Also with you letting the father dad watch the child knowing what's going on they could look at it like you knew and still let it happen. So I'd stop letting him watch your child.

If it's brought up they will look at mom and dad and I think any other "Guardian"

They should bring in a guardian ad litem or you should request one, they spend time with both parents in there homes and decide what's best.
