It also depends on the father of the baby. I am AB negative and my husband is O positive. I had to have the shot twice. Once at twenty eight weeks and the other after I had my daughter. It's funny because both my daughters are opposites. My oldest is B negative and my youngest is B positive.

@caityyy_lynnn, I do not know. I do know the shot does not harm you or the baby. It just protects both of you. It is weird that you are negative if both parents are positive. I would suggest having the doctor run another blood test.
