Struggling with breastfeeding, really feel like giving up. I definitely want to try as long as I can, but so far it's hard and I don't enjoy it, I feel so guilty that I'm even considering giving up. I know people keep saying it gets easier though..
( Plus someone bought me a breast pump and it was 200 dollars and I would feel so bad if I ended up mot using it. )

Omg I hated breastfeeding when I had my baby! But it does get easier! Try to hang in there girly, and remind yourself why you are doing it!

Its hard mama we all understand. My son only made it to 3 weeks cause I was so sore. But pumping before 4 weeks can cause mastitis. And trust me you dont want that. Are you using any nipple creams?

Breastfeeding is not easy!! Especially in the first weeks after pregnancy when baby is learning to latch properly and your boobs are just sore and engorged. My daughter is 4 months old and I still struggle with it. In a way it got easier but also made it harder to do other things. She nurses on demand which is all the time so I haven't started a pumping schedule like I'd hoped. Hang in there. I think as moms we all feel the pressure to breastfeed our babies but there's no shame in supplementing with formula or just switching to formula completely. I had to do that with my first baby. You are just trying to do what's best for you and baby. Don't feel guilty because it is really tough and all that matters is that your baby is getting fed .

I felt the same way in the beginning. Miserable, doubtful. I really wanted to quit. But here I am...still goin. Seeing how content and healthy my baby is/was got me through. (oh and some alcohol for my sanity 😂)

First week or two is the hardest. You just have to get over that hump. Speak with a Lactation Nurse in your area. Your doctor can refer you to one or the hospital you delivered at. It took 3 wks for me and baby to find our rhythm and now it's super easy. I will bf anywhere... mall, Disneyland, museums. Lol

I'm trying to push myself to go at least 4 weeks until I make a choice, I'm going to see if I can see a lactation consultant from the hospital. Hopefully they can help turn things around a little @ginz,
